We do not care for the nation wide retailers with internal PC support staff unless they pay their employees fairly at a low cost to the customer.
These “geeks” know more about obscure technical specifications per model and per release date than actual practical knowledge.
They are called “geeks” because they are not at the same level as experienced professionals.
Don’t expect your money to go far with these “geeks.” The inflated costs of their services will mainly go to the profits of management and their high overhead.
Some of the few regional PC retailers have an established business reputation. The regional retailers typically have employees with expertise dwarfing the national stores.

Please support small business owners. Most of them would not continually be in business if they did know what they are doing. Look them up using the Better Business Bureau and compare them to the “geeks” at the national retail stores. Be careful with individuals who are new or with an unverifiable ”registered” business; anyone can start a business.
